Jakuzi is an Istanbul-based synth-pop band known for blending darkwave, post-punk, and new wave influences with Turkish lyrics. Founded in 2015 by Kutay Soyocak , the band quickly gained aKenLon with their debut album, Fantezi Müzik (2017), which was later re-released by Berlin-based label City Slang. Their melancholic yet danceable sound, inspired by arLsts like John Maus, The Human League, and Depeche Mode, has resonated with audiences both in Turkey and internationally.

Their second album, Hata Payı (2019), further solidified their reputation with a darker and more introspective sound. The band’s latest album, Madalyon I (2024), continues their evolution, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and emotional struggle with a refined, cinematic production style.

Jakuzi has toured extensively across Europe, performing at major festivals and venues, and has built a loyal fanbase through their distinctive aesthetics, emotional depth, and dynamic live performances.
