Lenxi

London-born, Amsterdam-based Lenxi started out as the lead singer in a punk-electro band before getting into the Dutch dance scene. Now Lenxi Deejays and also plays her self produced tracks live during hybrid sets, showing us how to mix, sing and play samplers and synths all at the same time.

Her own tracks are personal and vulnerable and characterized by melancholic synth, but her DJ/Hybrid/Live act is rough and characterized by techno, acid, breaks and UK rave.

Lenxi has played notable electronic festivals this previous year, such as Orbit festival, Dekmantel festival and Draaimolen festival. This summer she has deejayed and played live at Amsterdam Open Air, Best Kept Secret, Nous’klaer Festival, Wildeburg and Dekmantel Selectors, and will be playing a special live set in Paradiso for Amsterdam Dance Event under curation of Speedy J. 

Her debut EP was released via the Amsterdam based label Magnetron Music on September 29th 2023, and was followed by track releases on compilations of the renowned labels Rush Hour (Amsterdam) and Nous’Klaer (Rotterdam). Currently Lenxi is working on the release of a new single in October 2024, and an album which both will be released under the wings of the renowned cross-over dance label Nous’klaer in the beginning of 2025.
